Has left Everton didn't last long under the new owners, strange just before the game tonight though

You give it out, you take it back it`s all part of the game

Another club not happy being in the EPL and believe they can get better.

Just like Charlton Athletic when they sacked Curbishly.

His outlook & the way he set his teams up to play has always been dire. However, unlike most managers in the EPL when his teams lose, he nearly always conducted his interviews with a fair & constructive assessment.

He’ll get plenty of offers from clubs looking to hold on to EPL status or trying to get promoted

Would have him at Swansea in a heart beat.

But his salary demands would price us out P&S etc.

He’s a good manager with a very tidy record. In his first job, he gave Watford their best finish in several seasons and he did a good job at Burnley who he got punching well above their station. Everton are in the doldrums and, let’s be honest while they’re a big club they certainly aren’t top 8 material.

Could Cardiff move for him? They could do a lot worse.

They couldn’t afford him, it would cripple them (more)

The ambition of the new stadium is weighing high on Everton.

I can see what you mean. I just did some googling and he’s reportedly on £5m per year 😮 and the 6th highest paid manager in the Premier League. Guardiola is numero uno and reportedly on £20m while Slot is 5th highest on around £6.5m.

I'm sure Moyes was the highest paid manager last time he was at Everton on £5M as season then.

Absolutely not. Not under any circumstances.

He would be a good fit at certain clubs but not ours. Defensively organised but that style of football belongs in the 1950s when your big centre forward could barge the keeper into the net and get away with it. Please god no.

He would take us up in two seasons that's for sure. But just to expensive.

I think you’re right, he’s got an excellent record and knows how to get a team in to the PL.

The fans might not like his style, but I don’t think the owners would care too much if he delivered them £150m via promotion.

“ He would take us up in two seasons that’s for sure “

For sure? I’d disagree with that. It would depend on many things. This team isn’t getting promoted regardless of who the manager is. He simply isn’t the right fit for Swansea in any case.

He won’t be coming here so it’s a pointless discussion really.
