Looks like the rain has eased and its due to stop completely by 4.30pm.
That's over 3 hours to carefully remove the covers and do some final prep on the pitch..
Carefully removed as the last thing we want is all that water on top to be allowed to seep into the problematic area in the corner of the main stand. | | | |

Not true.
Clubs can request referees come to the ground early, if possible, which is the case here. If the appointed referee can't attend early due to work commitments, a local official will be called in instead. | |

Started well, could should have been two up. Then started to give the ball away at the back, Beckwith then Hogan. Gave Oldham a foothold in the game, which they capitalised on. Lati cs grew into the game and apart from a couple of excellent breaks, Dale ended up hanging on a bit.
Decision not to relay the main stand pearl st corner, looks increasingly a poor one.
Need to retain possession in the second half and take any chances. Based on the first half if we could scramble a point it would be a good result. [Post edited 4 Feb 2025 20:49]

Missed first 5 minutes due to DAZN. From what I've seen, we are second best all over the pitch and slightly fortunate not to be two down. Linesman on main stand side is hopeless and missed a really obvious offside which could have led to a goal
More urgency needed all over the pitch in the second half.

We simply must take any chances we get, we spurn good opportunities. Oldham are a big physical team who play direct from everything swinging high balls in for that big lump Fondop Talum.
