1. Please could you ask for a update and clarification in respect of the proposed Golden Share in the club.
2. If RMBC have a stakeholding in the Bowlee Project would it not make sense for them to also have shares in the football club, either purchased or donated? Maybe that would put another layer of security around the Club projecting into the future and it could also avoid a conflict in interests and strengthen the partnership in respect of Bowlee. Please could you make that suggestion.

- What was the CAB/Supporter involvement in choosing the new kits and what the timeline of the decision making process?
What are the plans for choosing the kits going forward which ensure the club’s unique identity is better reflected in what we wear?
- Is there an update on any possible plans to introduce a ‘loyalty points’ scheme for people who travel regularly to away games?
(On the last one, it may have further details in the minutes from the June CAB meeting, however they don’t appear to be on the Advisory Board section on the OS - could these please be published regularly on there?)
Thank you for doing this. It would be good to see how other members of the CAB similarly try to get thoughts/questions from the fans they represent and the routes for doing this. Could this be established as part of future minutes? |  |

Offering shares in the club to the local Council is not for me, we have seen in very recent times that Councillors are not always favourable towards the Club. In a few years time, the relationship between the Club and Council may be even better than now, it may be worse, they float with the wind, and their shares in the Club can be sold to help any cause they see fit.
I appreciate with the Ogdens in control we are more likely, than not, to retain a cordial relationship with them, than not. But we have to think really long term if the Ogdens ever leave the club, what would the relationship be then.
I am all for us conducting increasing activities in relationship with the Council, and I think that would be extremely beneficial to both parties, but there is no need whatsoever to think of the Council as anything other than a working partner and not a shareholder.
I remember the views when the Club managed to buy back everything from the old Stadium Company, meaning we now owned everything ourself and I think that should remain in our thoughts. |  | | |

If I can ask Judd to ascertain an update on the views of the exiting the Car Park at the rear of the WMG stand. I mentioned towards the end of last season that I fully understood the Clubs response regarding the Ambulance route, so I am not advocating opening the gate from the Car Park towards Wilbutts Lane. We now have to start thinking that we have over 1,000 extra people who have bought season tickets, some may have been casual attendees and some may be first time attendees. The egress from the Car Park to Wilbutts Lane is hampered by the bollards between the gate and the stand. A number of accidents, minor ones, but accidents all the same, occurred last season as people walked into, or tripped over the bollards as they left the stadium. An almost 3 feet piece of cardboard around the bollard, cannot be seen when it is surrounded by a group, at some stage someone will be hurt and God forbid launch an action against the club. Two things can help, one is to ensure on night games, the club could utilise the lights fitted to the Rear of the WMG Stand, which would then effectively light the area and highlight the two concrete stumps with cardboard around them.
Secondly increase the height of them in some way to ensure they are visible, or have stewards standing in front of them. Before anyone says that reduces the width even further, yes it does but spectator safety is what the Club will be concerned about.
Lastly, I know this gets mentioned a lot, but again we have increased numbers attending. The last few years has seen the Exit Gate at the junction of Sandy Lane and Wilbutts Lane kept closed. The capacity of the Sandy Lane stand is partly calculated on the Exit Gates and the width of the exit routes to them, the exit currently being used is also part of the capacity calculations for the Main Stand. Both sides of the Sandy Lane have exits that narrow as you leave the stand which causes a bottle neck effect. You can get away with not using one of the Exits as a one off, if it is not to be used then they need to notify the Local Authority who can then reduce the capacity of the stand. In the past the response has been it has never been used, that is, as long standing supporters know wrong. I do get on games with a potential for Public Disorder a decision can be made to prevent rival spectators confronting each other but on the other 20 home games there is nothing to stop the Club using both. We keep being told they want to make the spectator valued, and it to be an enjoyable experience if this is the case why are we continually inconveniencing some of our supporters. | | | |

There was an IT hack and the incomplete minutes were lost. I have chased them up today and from memory, should include a response to the loyalty scheme you raised lat time.
Pity it was Stockport that was the given example.of loyalty!

If there can be an evaluation of the kit process, what could have been better and what changes will look like over the coming months, it will help with fans understanding. Look forward to hearing back on this after the meeting… especially why we added red chevrons!
Appreciate the loyalty scene being raised and it shows how your work on supporters behalf is a perfect example of how the CAB structure can be very effective. | |

Fully agree about not having RMBC owning shares in the club.
RMBC have forever been very pro-Hornets almost to the point of being anti-Dale.. One day, our owners may need to make a decision about the tenants and would be better placed to do so without a shareholder wittering on in the background.
As you say, councillors come and go. Some of us are old enough to remember Farnell dropping us in the shit, and N Smith blocking the Denehurst Park training development.
And they do float with the wind! Can't remember his name, but one couldn't wait to be photographed in the Ob* wearing the scarf prior to our Wolves FA Cup tie.
Never seen him since at the ground.

Indeed. RMBC holding a share in the stadium company was of little use for many a year.
Neither was NIMBY Spotland Ward Councillor Norman Smith opposing the Denehurst Park redevelopment proposals in the 1990's to get himself votes. The current Spotland & Falinge Ward Councillor Rana (Mr two votes is now the mayor!) has been no better with NIMBY opposition to a concert at the COA , following some very suspect flyers to local residents from a hostile takeover source being circulated. Also, with his ex-councillor wife, their failed attempt to impose parking restrictions adjacent to the COA on matchdays. He is on record on the RMBC website as having received "hospitality" at RAFC on November 13th 2021 and lists himself as a "trustee of Rochdale Hornets". We don't forget.
RMBC in 2026 however are on board for the incredible commitment the Ogden's have shown to improve the sports facility at Bowlee, despite RMBC having no shares so let's hope that it all works out for the good of the community and our club. The Council working with RAFC benefits the borough far more than the mercenary self-interest of certain councillors.

On kits, I defer to 442 who sums up my concerns perfectly - would be great if kits going forward reflect our identity - use the core blue black white colour scheme.
I would add one question on kits - please can the club consider goalkeeping kits being made available to fans, more specifically junior sizes for goalkeeping kits - which id imagine is the key market for goalies, given the number of junior team goalies out there?
Would have loved to have been able to buy my goalie son a “Crown Oli” shirt from the Wembley final - as far as i know there are no plans currently to have a goalie kit available to juniors again this season. |  | | |
