I know that Rochdale is not St Tropez and Manchester is not Milan, but having lived in Wolverhampton for a couple of years i can guarantee that Wolverhampton and Brum have nowt, apart from an accent that even yorkshire golk take the mickey out of.

No disrespect, btw, to Scott Hogan, but the prospect of a big cash injection overrides most other considerations. Over the years posted on this forum have been loads of ideas about how to improve attendances. To add another 200 for each league home match has been seen as worth a lot of effort. But a back-of-an-envelope estimate suggests that £750,000 is equivalent to doubling current crowds for a full season. | | | |
