Looking forward to seeing him play. Let's hope he can help us climb up the table away from the dreaded drop zone
He scored 10 in 23 games for Barrow in 2018. Some decent footage on YouTube, he looks skillfull and a sharp finisher. In a 2-0 win v Maidenhead there is a great run by RND to set up Smith to score - hopefully a few more of those here!
Its a BRILLIANT goal to cap a BRILLIANT start by Rochdale - Don Goodman 26/08/10
His CV is stronger than Pyke’s, with 30 league games played. If Donny and Bristol Rovers gave him game time it suggests he is good enough to be an asset during this important time of the season. I am positive on this one. The RND connection will help him bed in. Welcome aboard Tyler.
What's great about this move is it also shows how happy Sheffield are with us and how we are bringing on their younger players. Maybe another good relationship being built there.
On the player it could go one of two ways it just depends how much game time he gets and how he is played within our system and if it suits him. Fingers crossed!
I just hope it doesn't stall the progression of our own young players too much.

We haven't really got any in his position, have we?
I'm thinking Baah and Tavares. Also Mulvey maybe but I'm not sure how far away from the first team he currently is.
Baah is just 16. The other two are only 18 and Mulvey has only just joined up with a professional club for the first time. There will be plenty of time and opportunities for them to progress beyond this season, but I'm sure they will still get first-team minutes when appropriate too.
His Wiki profile states that he signed on loan for Bristol Rovers "for the 2019/20 season"
I guess it didn't work out for him there? The profile could be wrong, of course
Good luck to him at Dale. I guess this is the type of player that's available to us - has talent, basically unproven but worth a punt
According to some of their fans on Twitter, they didn't know he had left the club and was last known to have been injured after 'kicking an object in frustration in training' or something.

Is it not a case BBM and Alan Knill are mates from when he managed him at b*ry?
