As things stand (with about 20 minutes to go), Rotherham are out of the Championship relegation zone but if they concede away at Cardiff they'd finish bottom!
Derby rallied after the break but find themselves behind again...

Derby co have stayed put without winning anything today as the proverbial yo-yo Rotherham didnt quite manage it. Wycombe give it a huge go in the final quarter of their season but left it far to late to survive.

I suppose it was either try to play it today or postpone it. Either way, it doesn't really matter as they needed to win whenever it was played. The way results are going, though, even a win won't get them in the top seven. |  |

Any explanation as to why, when Henderson won a penalty it was taken by Boyd (whose shot was saved)?
I wonder if Hilly is content to have Tranmere in the last playoff place (and, thus, I think, be in line to meet, rather than Newport, Morecambe). I'm not sure which teams most Dale fans would prefer to meet in L2. |  | | |

Henderson missed his last penalty, so Bowyer has obviously told him he wasn't taking the next one.
Given that Tranmere fans thought they were unjustly relegated last season, you have to question why they were only the seventh best team in a division lower! [Post edited 8 May 2021 17:13]
