The National League seems quite steady and loyal in comparison, probably because of the lack of money.
Hartlepool, like us, will be looking at a possible next season 2024/25 without the EFL parachute money and working out how to manage that if a playoff push isn't achieved in the second half of the campaign.

Askey was often mentioned on here as a more experienced option than JM at this level. I wasn’t in that camp, but I am surprised that we are above the Pools at this stage of the season. Their next appointment will be very important. They could slip into a relegation battle if they get it wrong.
