Do we get any add-on money from Bolton as part of the Aaron Morley transfer as result of them winning the Papa Johns Trophy this afternoon? Nearly 80000 at Wembley to watch them do it.

Yes. A free side dish and a 2-litre Pepsi Max.

I would imagine the only people who know that are those who arranged his transfer.

Or Breels.

It'd be interesting to know how that crowd broke down Bolton/Plymouth

Can't imagine there'd be that many neutral freebies for the PaPa John's?

If it was mainly support from those clubs, that just shows the extent of their potential fanbase

When we took around 15000 to Wembley in 2008, a great many of those won't have been to watch Dale since

I think it was closer to 19,000, wasn’t it? I may be wrong but I remember being surprised that we outnumbered serial crowd cvnters Stockport.

Bolton had sold around 34,000 tickets by the end of Thursday, with ticket sales extended into Friday.

Radio Bolton probably snapped up another 4,000 through the extension period...

As an aside, has anyone seen the Twitter photo of Jack Dearden hugging the Papa Johns Trophy?
No pretensions of impartiality there from Radio Bolton.

Great result for Bolton.

Considering the manager there was being pilloried not so long ago when they were in League 2 having said they were the best team in the league at that time.

Full credit to them all.
