As head commercial honcho at Oldham rugby it looks like his fingerprints are all over the season ticket fiasco at Oldham rugby. After selling season tickets for next year they then announce they will be switching from playing home games on sundays to playing on Friday nights. There has been a massive backlash from the fans, with lots being unable to go on Fridays. The Chairman has now had to come out and offer those who have purchased season tickets an equivalent value flex pack and also switching some games back to sunday. The chairman cannot say he wasnt warned. |

 | Forum Thread | Cameron John signed shirt by lyberoc at 10:47 2 Dec 2025
We are hosting a charity night on Sat in aid of The Rawthey Project who aim to get ex armed forces suffering from addiction or depression back into normal life RAFC Community Trust have kindly donated a signed Cameron John shirt for the raffle however as most of our expected guests will be from out of town there will be few if any Rochdale fans at the event . Rather the shirt going to someone who would not appreciate it I thought to offer it for a donation to the charity on here I think that the size is a boys large , it does seem small for a men's shirt I will be at the game on Sat so could arrange to meet anyone who wants it to hand it over This is the event page https://www.facebook.com/events/1021862106691641 this is the charity https://www.rawthey.org/ I don't know how to add pics to the post if anyone can enlighten me I will do so |

Only three sides have won the FA Trophy and Conf/National League in the same season. Wealdstone 84/85 Colchester 91/92 Wycombe 92/93 Should we be aiming to be the fourth? |

I know that I'm going to get accused of hitting the mulled wine too soon from some on here, but I've been thinking of how we could posdibly bolster the squad in light of the recent news regarding pitch renovations and the costs involved. Other teams will soon be adding to their squads in preparation for the second half of the season. We have quality running deeper than previously, and I realise Jim has identified a certain profile that he wants in his players. However, in my humble opinion, I fear that nice footballers with polite football etiquette both on and off the pitch are not necessarily going to get us over the line. Other teams have players and managers within their ranks who have that bit of mongrel about them. Who is going to hold the ball up in the corner with a couple of minutes to go in order to secure the points? Who is going to get into the referees face to question a dubious decision? Who is going to get a grip of an opposing player and put the fear of God into them? Don't be mistaken in thinking that I'd prefer a team of hard men and cloggers. But, perhaps, an experienced free agent like Quigley might be the difference needed. He's a year older that EEL.....knows the club and the league.....a big unit who can hold the ball up......good in the hair......chips in with goals...a pantomimevillain type who oopposing fans would warm to......and a man I certainly wouldn't want to meet in a dark alley. Thoughts please....... |

Just looking and seen that new signing Ryan has shirt number 37. I was wondering who fills the other 30’s numbers (other than Sam 33). Last season academy player had rthese numbers but seeing we have no scholars this year who is filling these numbers |

Could I recommend you watch the Pritchard injury video on the website. We criticise players too easily sometimes. Like many others I liked the look of him before the injury, but the video shows how hard it can be. Here is a 29 year old pro footballer who started the year with MKDons, left by mutual consent in January, Helped Oldham out till the end of the season but no new contract, joined us on a 1year deal, started 3 league games and then was injured tackling back. With light training after several weeks on crutches no doubt trying to keep his spirits up. Pro football is no bed of roses. |

I just loved Jakes interview after last night's game. I must admit I thought he might be feeling disillusioned this season with not playing as often as he may have expected. How wrong was I. He was articulate, speaking with real enthusiasm about the team, the manager and the closeness and belief of the squad. He also said how pleased he was to have Pritchard back in the team, a player with skill and experience and one he feels he can learn from. If anyone has a doubt about the strength of belief and unity that Jim has created in this group they should listen to this interview from a young player not currently in the starting lineup but who sees himself as part of something special. |
