tomorrow can't come quick enough 14:17 - Oct 16 with 2297055 viewsbatman

Not for us, but for Bury.
i was credit checking a potential customer and decided to nosey onto
BFC's file and was (or maybe not) supprised to see a new CCJ for circa £22k lodged
only Wednesday this week.
looks like they are in need of a bumper crowd tomorrow to settle some bills

£67 k on catering bills, £27 k for the Swans Coach company, presumably for club travel to away games, £106 k for unpaid water bills, .local photographer remains unpaid.......the list goes on. Many local businesses and individuals being ripped off and unpaid for services supplied.

Disgusting doesn't cover it. It's a shameful, cavalier attitude shown towards everyday individuals and business trying to make an honest living, then they come up against BFC who not only can't pay, but who try to become debt free through the courts and effectively shaft all the creditors.

It turns your stomach.......

They'll be lucky if anyone ever does business with them again.

Shaun Goater listed as a creditor too.

Feed the goat and he will score.

Although preferably not from a food bank

£2,150 owed to Bolton lads and girls club - a charity run community group.
Their mission statement reads...

"To inspire and enable all young people, especially those from disadvantaged circumstances, to realise their potential and become happy, responsible and caring citizens"

And to think some of them said they didn’t care how they survive as long as they do.

Morally bankrupt scum.

Surely when their " fans" see that list even the thickest of the real thickos must be rightly be ashamed of their Club?

Shocking.

And its not just 'blame Day and Dale'. All the staff must have known the situation regarding not paying bills - yet one of them still organised something which involved them owing a charity organisation £2,150 - along with everything else they are morally bankrupt.

Speaking of morally bankrupt scum, I noticed that "agents"are owed a figure not too far off the money owed to players. I realise that there are many variables, but are agents really necessary at League 1 and 2 level where they potentially could be making as much as the people they represent?

Am I right in calculating that they owe HMRC nearly £1 million yet they're offering 25p in the pound?
Throw in what they owe Bury and Trafford councils and there's a lot of money that would have come in handy in the public purse in these days of austerity.
And am I right in reading that the maximum that any employee will received under the proposed deal would be £525? Those playing contracts weren't worth the paper that they were printed on, wave byebye to your promotion bonuses lads.

Finally read through it and had to laugh at the bit where it said they were placed under a transfer embargo due to poor attendances!
Funny we too have poor attendances but I dont remember any transfer embargo for us?

Wouldn't the collapse of ITV digital have had a bearing on our purse string as well

We didn’t spend the money before we’d got it.

When I was your age, I used to enjoy the odd game of tennis. Or was it golf?

We played it well when itv digital collapsed, we didn’t spend the money until it came and we signed Paul Connor, I remember the chairman saying that we money was spread out over 3years covering his wages so it didn’t impact upon us to much, in fact when a lot of clubs were struggling we had some money to sign a couple of high profile players (unfortunately they didn’tt work out)

The "road to administration" sure makes you proud. £115k to Bury Council at a time when they'll be cutting back vital services. The £2k to Bolton lads and girls club is a particular low. So many local businesses owed significant sums of money. If this were Rochdale AFC i'd rather see us liquidated than send any innocent companies under. We suffer from this too because businesses won't trust Football clubs, they'll cut down on deals and insist on money up front.

It would appear that no matter what stigma may be attached to a business and those that run it, some people will do business with anyone if there's a chance of a few quid.

Poll: What is it to be then?

Reading the board over at giggle and the thread connected to this list of creditors it is clear that the vast majority commenting are sick to the stomach with what they have learned. They are ashamed and are saying so loudly, it's too little too late but it's the first time in this sorry saga that I have felt some sympathy for them..... That's until I think about the businesses with unpaid bills, then my sympathy evaporates faster than fat lad doing a runner.....

Yes, it's ridiculous. The £525 applies to all 'non-footballing' creditors (contracted playing staff will receive 100% of all monies due, as will all other football creditors, PFA, players, agents EFL etc..).

Office staff, ground staff, cleaners etc., will get £525 as a final payment, regardless of any amount they were ACTUALLY owed.

The great unwashed public will get shafted for £750,000 due to HMRC and £100,000 due to Bury M.B.C. not to mention those trying to recover debts for services and goods already supplied, who will likely now get sweet F.A. (or a sum approaching it).

They are a financial cesspit and need closing down, never to be seen again.
