Ireland, Scotland, Wales and England will join 16 other nations as they compete for the ultimate prize in rugby – the Webb Ellis Cup – which was last won by the Springboks in 2019. The opening match of Rugby World Cup 2023 will see hosts France face three-time winners New Zealand on Friday 8th September. The final will take place seven weeks later on Saturday 28th October.

There's a degree of truth to that but we learnt the hard way in 2007 in similar circumstances. We've no doubt. Paid out more than if we'd just given Shaun Edwards a 4 year deal

Warburton sent off in semi-final another. Ben and Rambo banned for semi in Euro16.
It is always the Refs fault when we lose and now its the Refs fault when we win lol but he was one of the reasons this game was a barnburner, glad it was him in charge.

What a fantastic Uruguay performance, however rugby is eating itself with pathetic law changes.
Can you elaborate on that, in my opinion the French player should have been red carded, his teammate had tackled the Uruguayan player and he came in with no intention of wrapping his arms around the tackled player and smashed him in the chops, red card all day.
From around 1,12 in he extends his arm out which smashes the top half of his arm and shoulder bang into the chops of the player, there's little doubt that, that's red

Not confident we would beat the convicts ,it’s why I feel uncomfortable wanting them to beat Fiji as it would help us . There again,the Fiji love in is tiresome. Just watched the incident, definite red card for a tackle to the head with his shoulder, no attempt to use his arms.
These are the sorts of tackles in both codes that need eradicating from the game, RL are all over it and it seems that RU don't seem to have a clue.
Similar tackle last night in NZ v Namibia game and the yellow dished out to the NZ prop was rightly upgraded to a Red.
The game doesn't need inconsistencies in these sort of instances its madness, and unfortunately there was a Welshman involved in that decision the night before, typically
