Stats are both misleading and meaningless Grimes completion rate is staggering but it’s easy to pass a ball two yards then collect it and do it three times more . It only ends being passed back to Larry anyway.. Larry’s distribution is outstanding ,Mike’s better than what we have had. Ergo,we don’t need a midfielder dropping back . Both Cabango and darling have to make way for him. It is astounding and risible in equal, measure Blackburn were woeful and got a fortunate goal They only needed to then do basics
Yet we still take hundreds if not thousands away every game.
Don't see the point of getting rid, who they gonna bring in if they did?
Unless they give it to Sheehan who did a decent interim job, I don't think he'd want it though.

We don’t know who’s available but we shouldn’t employ somebody who is taking us nowhere . I don’t subscribe to the crap that we are not an attractive option ,notwithstanding our owners. We have a fan base just begging to see our glorious club get back on track We need somebody to stop this madness

You do realise how many we approached and we're turned down prior to appointing Martin and Duff.

The treatment of Cooper and Martin by the clubs owners would have got around to other manager's and their agents probably just put the phone down when laughing their chuff off after answering the call.

We really need to stop pretending that either Cooper or Martin were in any way poorly treated, especially in the latter case.
Pain or damage don't end the world. Or despair, or f*cking beatings. The world ends when you're dead. Until then, you got more punishment in store. Stand it like a man... and give some back.

Imagine if Williams left tomorrow and any prospective manager was told. We have three of our starting eleven out of contract in the summer including our two central defenders. The budget for any incoming player is about £6K a week. The recruitment team prefer to buy from abroad because they are cheaper even if the majority don't suit the English game, but don't worry we will loan them out at the end of the season and you won't have replacements.

Imagine being a young ambitious manager with a frustrated fan base just waiting for a renaissance . A club just begging to get back on track
No , I don't mean 54 per cent would like him Rather not be here We can't all be heretics
It's down to our owners to source staff and that is our problem A double whammy
Wrong owners Wrong coach
While we are having this friendly discussion, what I are Zlukey and the players doing Fulminating on how they can improve ?
Yeah baby
This is exactly what Williams is.
Young, ambitious, ripping it up at a lower level, producing good football, scoring goals, winning games.
Two of our previous four managers have got their next club in to the Premier league, one’s next club was already in the premier league and he quickly moved on to Chelsea.

The three of our previous four coaches have gone on to manage in the Premier League, I would say sourcing coaches is not a problem for our owners, keeping them is.
People voting him out when he has changed our defense into a monumental force already??? this is why i don't really get on with fellow supporters, they have no idea what the hell they are on about to be fair Give this man a quality striker and two more Eom quality players and this team make playoffs easily. ( yes i said Eom quality because a tiny bit more time and he is going to be lethal) Quote me! What more do these PS5 football manager people want?
You really think our defence is "monumental"? Well first 4 letters apart, that's...
We don't need to concede many goals to lose because we score so very rarely. We had 2 clear cut chances yesterday as well as several balls across the 6 yard box that nobody was there for. We made enough chances to have won but we got nothing worthwhile on target, I don't think?

Correct both were given great support in keeping with a club losing money in the championship. Both were given time and players they wanted as best as could be afforded. Both broke their contracts unwilling to work under tight budgets. Cooper at least did not play s ducks and drakes with the contractual compensation claim.
They did not like the restrictions that almost all Championship teams have. They did not want to "make the most of a difficult situation". That was the job.

In it, its incredible Whitey, you need experienced championship players in the spine of your team to do any good otherwise you're in the lap of the gods, we got a squad with no proper goal scorers in it Cullen apart but he's nowhere near to what we need and we're looking to employ a wing back and a winger, when we're crying out for a Striker.
Luke Williams didnt play walking football at Notts County so why is he doing it here ? That said of latw pur football has been played at a pace but i didnt see yesterdays game .
The football played at Notts County under Williams was fast attacking a high goal scoring ..... Unlike h
is previous boss LW seems to have changed his playing mantra ....shoukdnt we be asking ourselves why it is ?

At Notts County he had a top goalscorer for the league, he also a player who could pick him out.

But Tom who works in the DVLA and goes to Clase social club said they were useless. One boring, one a fraud! People who know football are in football. People who like to think they know football preach on football forums.

Maybe the managers aren’t the issue?
Absolutely.
Swansea Indepenent Poster Of The Year 2021. Dr P / Mart66 / Roathie / Parlay / E20/ Duffle was 2nd, but he is deluded and thinks in his little twisted brain that he won. Poor sod. We let him win this year, as he has cried for a whole year. His 14 usernames, bless his cotton socks.
Luke Williams is doing well. There’s no doubt about that given the current situation at our club.
He knows where we need to strengthen but our club hierarchy seem unprepared to pay the going rate. Or can’t afford to and that’s a concern.
I’m hoping that we can finish the season around where we are now which will be a very respectable return.
As for our previous managers including Steve Cooper and Russell Martin, they both did well with some restrictions in place too albeit we had stringer squads then than we do now.
If Luke gets support from the owners we will see progress. Defensively we are very strong. The team set up is excellent . Last Saturday I think we limited the home side to only seven goal attempts over the 90 minutes . Thst says a lot. We know we need more going forward but are those players within our current budget….
Only an idiot would eat a turkey curry on Christmas day

Because he saw Rus get his move to Southampton with limited success. Luke is trying to do the same.

"Maybe the managers aren’t the issue?"
They're not in fairness, on the face of it I think Coleman cares and wants us to do well, but his hands are tied I expect, by the usual yes or no man.
