Had a man near me couple of seasons ago, who seemed to detest every Rangers player in every match we played in and it began after only 17 seconds in, of every game until after the final whistle and beyond.
Often bemused looks were exchanged from all around. The "not" amigo, would swear violently and often screaming, "That's f?*k**g shyte", with throughout the game. Occasionally upgrading his insults to the highest level.
I dont mind the odd expletive ridden rant but these people don't realise how much their incessant nonsense spoils the game for others around them. If we score an incredible goal - rare, I know - but these type of people a millisecond later are moaning and groaning again.
Anyhow a couple men behind this guy were fed up, hearing this match after match. Stewards had to be called in, as a few blows and the odd grapple later, they had to be ripped apart.
Anyone else seen any Rangers fans take a physical dislike to each other, or players even ?
Everyone understood the reasons why with this guy i have mentioned.

it kicked off in the palais the night before between those two little firms.
Memory serves me right that was collective pre cup final exuberance that spilled into jumping on the stage, chasing the bouncers out of the club and down the road to Hammersmith Nick to summon assistance,
Mini riot ensued and quite a few arrested.

A bloke I sometimes have a drink with in W12 these days was on the door at the Palais back then and says the night before the Milk Cup Final such was the ruckus it was the only time they ever sent police horses in to the venue and on to the dance floor. He reckons Oxford we’re in the mix too. I wasn’t there but like all good Westerns I hope the DJ didn’t stop playing.

I was in there that night was 100% Rangers, started off good natured, Bouncers tried to get some semblance of order and it all kicked off, with the Bouncers getting chased out the front doors and down the road.

Away a good few years ago somewhere within striking distance of my then home town of Manchester, there was a fight on the concourse at half time between two old blokes, one of whom was on crutches and swinging one of them around like a broad sword.
Watford when we were getting promoted. Youngish guy with his missus was having an altercation with an older gentleman 50something. Anyway this older bloke was really up for a row and the young guy backed away, the older guys mates held him back, I didn't hear what was said.
Thought it was weird in our promotion game (in theory).
Did anyone else see that?

I saw Brian McCarthy and R_From_Afar going at it outside Hooters Nottingham over a waitress’s number once.
I was only there in my capacity as a mystery shopper, honest. You know, doing research. Man, I loved that job.
"Things had started becoming increasingly desperate at Loftus Road but QPR have been handed a massive lifeline and the place has absolutely erupted. it's carnage. It's bedlam. It's 1-1."

Bush Gazette reported 150 police at scene & police horses were stabled next door in Hammersmith Police Station so would have been outside but definitely not inside.
15 arrested, 6 police & 6 joe public injured so it was a fair to do, even by Saturday Night @ The Hammersmith Palais standards.

Shame Joe Strummer wasn't there, else we could have had (Chelsea Man) in Hammersmith Palais.
I seem to remember Charlton away a decade or so ago being rather fractious between the fans. Plenty of sniff at half time, a schit performance and lost the game (to a late goal I think) really wasn't a good mix.

I'm someone who has always liked to shoot the breeze with people around me at a game, but at my first ever game sat with my dad as ST holders, I asked someone behind me did he not think his character assassination of a player 30 seconds in the match was a tad unfair when they got a poor pass.
"Do you wanna fcking go??????". Was sat was his kid too. I was like err no, I do not.
A pal of mine once said something that's stayed with me about arguments and difficult conversations "Depends what you want to get out of it". It's super annoying when you get someone near you who is dribbling or being unrelentingly negative (as opposed to base level negative all QPR fans are entitled to) but there's no real upside to trying to thrash it out, especially these days when everyone's geared up, so I just take some deep breaths

I got the joys of being near a few lovely chaps who start f ing and jeff ing from minute one, this season.
Admit we all have our moments but some fans it's their constant reset "f'd off with this" mode.
I once said to a guy, you need to get a more suitable hobby mate. I don't think this is doing you any good.
I don't think I should have said that. He didn't like my comment that much...

The booing last night the screams to GET IT FORWARD were at times pathetic in my opinion, puts the place on edge adds nothing helps no one, a bloke in F block standing waving his arms around like he was landing a jumbo jet, felt like taking his teeth out but throw a punch at football and get 167 years in nick!! Only joking I don't like or advocate violence! I've seen a few incidents over the years, it's all nonsense

Seen loads down the years Best one was opening game of the season against Barnsley two fellas going at it sitting right next to each other in the SA , the game hadn’t even kicked off and they were throwing haymakers Milk cup 86 someone above me getting hit in the head repeatedly with a flag not sure it was Rangers vs Rangers but it was a bit nasty
And Bowles is onside, Swinburne has come rushing out of his goal , what can Bowles do here , onto the left foot no, on to the right foot
That’s there that’s two, and that’s Bowles
