I respect you as a poster Eastside, but you are living in cloud cuckoo land if you think the ECB will learn lessons from this. They didn't 4 years ago and they wont now - They are pressing ahead with relegating Red Ball cricket to the side lines. As mentioned above we cant produce spinners due to the time of year we play 4 day cricket and as I mentioned above most of the seamers that play in county cricket here are overseas players And someone else suggested that test cricket is not important to English fans, I disagree, they will always turn out no matter who is playing in my opinion Interesting stat, and even this series I have criticised him but apart from Root, only Crawley was the other batsman to average over 35 - Not bad considering he had a pair in the first test |  | |  |
