No takers yet ? I'd better have another go in the hope of alcohol duty being scrapped in the Budget.
A 1-1 draw I reckon.

We won in the pink kit !! … Well done boys

I decided today that I really loathe the pink kit. It's more than dislike. It's more than hate. It's even more than detest. It's pure loathing!!

But a beautiful win. Well done lads!!

Come on, hang in there for a bit longer. Team is built for 4-2-3-1 - Burrell up top on his own, Chair as the no. 10, two fast wingers, any of Dembele, Smyth, Saito

JS got the team selection right tonight, irrespective of the result. Good call.

We got over the line tonight - just - but the foxlessness of our box is a big issue, I feel. I don't know how Kone is going to be rehabilitated, but we're a man short with him playing right now.

Lovely, more please Rangers.

Noticed Mbengue has reliable instincts today always goes outside in defense uses pace in attack, better to shoot than launch a counter.

Not claiming he's a deep thinker, or even a shallow one but his instincts seem on the money.

Good game from Nardi - made a great save to keep Rangers in it

I'm so pleased for Nardi.

Great result, they’ll be some knackered players after that.

Blackburn were fcking awful and we actually went for the win and got it.

Great gritty performance from the whole team, but I thought Varane was outstanding, my MotM. Special mention to Smyth, he must be horrible to play against.

Hoping Kone and Kolli play at the weekend.

Love Burrell but he needs a rest.

Horrible game. 2 points off the playoffs!

Crazy right division at the moment, 7 points between 3rd and 18th

And he can do flips - very enjoyable win that, which is nice as the game wasn’t and we usually lose cold evenings up north like that

Close result (and mediocre performance?) in a cold northern town - but a big win.

In the context of the season - a big big win.

So much of the Oct/Nov damage is now repaired.

Well done Rangers, Paul Smyth, and the noble 450.

Good win.. felt it was there for the taking, and we were worryingly looking like not ever sticking the knife in.. was feeling like it was heading for a 0-0, which would have been a shame. Good sub appearance, good timing. And quite comfortable although a bit messy after we scored..

That sliding tackle near the end!

I really don't understand why he doesn't play more.

Wow! Watched a different game from you. Felt like he went 10 min spells without touching it. Madsen covered a lot more ground. And lots of people posting earlier how our midfield was about invisible. Would have had Varane down as the 2nd worst performance behind Burrell who looked well off it today.

Honestly?
He's not done anything.

Honestly he did alright. Great block from the wall from their direct free kick as well.

And with another away game in 65 hours time you’d expect a raft of changes but will JS change a winn8ng team?

Smyth was exceptional the whole time he was on. Another level of intensity from him.

Field had a very poor first half, but was very good defensively and on the ball in the second half.

Madsen worked hard but kept failing to complete that killer pass when it was on. For me, Varane was anonymous. Coasted through a lot of that.

Word for Cook and Nardi. Cook didn’t put a foot wrong after concussing Hamer! Won everything in the air. Nardi made a match winning save. That wasn’t at him. No right to save that.

Chair was very good all night. Saito dangerous. Felt Burrell wasn’t really at it and Kone is definitely looked heavier and slower. What is the Performance function up to? He looked fitter and sharper after a limited pre-season at Wycombe than he does now he’s been with us months. Concerning.

Blackburn are total toilet though. Would have been annoyed not beating that.

Disagree on Varane. First half I though he was very good. I thought Field was generally poor with the ball throughout but sympathy from me for doing a job at left back. Smyth excellent performance and made the difference.

I thought Varane played well, he made a lot of good passes forward, was always around the play in midfield and broke a lot of their play. Same with Madsen. I like that pair in the middle. Not long ago we thought we couldnt do anything without a midflied 3, now we have these 2 in the middle, and results and excitement (Hull) are there. I like it
