Great win, Gateshead had their chances but truthfully we should've put the game to bed a lot sooner - (a slightly worrying trend). Great goals the 2 we scored but I'm still not quite sure how Duku didn't put that one in on the line - he didn't show any desire to jump and head it in to the open goal? How he let the defender clear is baffling.
Count Duku has matched Devante Rodney naming.
Great Shot: Get in there, Rodney Poor shot: Oh Dave.
Great Shot: Get in there, Dooku Poor shot: Oh Duckula (sic)
As a Count, Duku is obviously related to Count von Count from Sesame Street, who "loves to count" therefore every goal he scores should be greeted with "one goal, mwahahaha, two goals mwhahahaha" etc

What was Duku doing?.
No desire at all to jump and nod into an empty goal!!
I can only think brain fog and for a split second though he was defending as he seems to attempt a back heel away from goal...
Baffling.
If we are serious about winning the league we have to be more ruthless in front of goal we currently average less than 2 goals a game and are 7th in the goals scored table.
York 66 Goals Boreham Wood 51 Carlisle 49 Solihiull 48 Aldershot 46 Forest Green 45 Dale 44

McNulty looks to be aware of making the most of how well we create situations to score. As has been said, Dieseruvwe’s return will help. Actually thought Duku scored his hardest chance and with the one on the line it was a lack of awareness that cost him. As if he was waiting to nod it in and didn’t anticipate a challenge.
Having said all that, only York and Boreham Wood are out-scoring us on goals per game.
We score first, we win. That’s something the rest can’t match us on so far.

Very much looked like he expected the ball to fall kindly for him, don't think it was due to any failure of effort as others have hinted at
It's rather like when players don't strike the ball first time in the penalty box, but take a touch to make it easier for them but that's enough to see their effort blocked

I'm not a maestro, far from it, but I just engage my brain before posting.
