| Pen yesterday? 20:13 - Feb 1 with 3247 views | davman | I am surprised that more is not being said about that foul on Smyth by Grimes at 0-0. In the Lower School End I was livid; it looked stonewall. Now I have seen it quite a few times on replay, I am even more sure. Yet, some on here suggested it would have been "soft" and ITV didn't show it in their highlight reel. So what am I missing? Smyth did not initiate contact, Grimes certainly moved towards him and took him out; clear cut, surely? | |

As far as I can tell we’ve had two pens: both scored by Madsen. One against Middlesbrough, won by Smyth. One against Sheff Wed, handball.

But is the ref on Smyth's list as a bit of a c*nt?

They get given, and I hate that they get given, because I think it's cheating. So I wasn't that fussed. No one else in the team seemed too bothered, if I recall?
| Pen yesterday? on 15:35 - Feb 2 with 364 views | QPRSam | Find it wild that in a league with £millions on the line we have to account for referee bias with game changing decisions like this. Like posters said before, Smyth does go down a lot and definitely has a reputation, that shouldn't have any bearing on what I thought was stonewall. In the Prem with VAR that is given all day | | | |

Yeah, I'm still not sure on it. Their lad wanted a soft free kick in the build up to our second, he didn't give that either. He was even-handed.
