Another shambles of a batting display, hope they spend plenty of time in the nets before next April to try and work out that they need to hit the ball with that wooden thing they hold in their hands. Ironically the bowling performances earned some very respectable bonus points which in itself must frustrate the Bowlers when they watch the Bats men make such a mess of their part in the game.

Apparently we have never been the bottom club in our history. With Gloucs's lucky draw yesterday there is a lot to play for in the last fixtures. Chances are both teams will lose as they play the top 2, so the 9 point cushion is useful. Even with a few players away with England most of the time, we are one of the better funded teams so it is a shambles of a season. Will be interesting to see if Chilton loses his job as he has been the common factor over the last 3-4 years of poor performance. Certainly something needs to change for next season.
