Really looking forward to Sunday, win, lose have a booze, it's been a great season. Personally, I'm not bothered about Scunthorpe's ticket distribution issues and all that slosh, but thinking ahead to hopefully a great game on Sunday.
I think the players are going to be buzzing and up for it . 20 odd points above Scunthorpe, we've got great form no need to be tentative, carry on from that hard-working performance from last Saturday.
Our hard working players can see us over the line. Sh1t or bust nothing to lose.

If this was the regular season and we needed these two wins I think people would feel more confident. We know that our players have the ability to beat Scunthorpe but this game will tell us where they are re their mental state after last weeks shenanigans.
If the players are not up to the task mentally then i can see us getting well beaten.

The York game was absolutely massive and deserved the hype i thought, the atmosphere and tension was something i've never experianced at Spotland before. The character of the players can't be questioned, they stepped up to the plate against York and came within seconds of beating them. York won that game, our players didn't lose it. No matter what happens on Sunday i think the events of that iconic game will benefit us next season, the manager set the team up perfectly and the circumstances surrounding those last couple of minutes were out of his control. He got us over the line in my mind and so did the players, they couldn't legislate for a pitch invasion which gave the opposition time to get up off the canvas, clear their heads and deliver a knockout blow. |  | | |

That was my immediate post-match "consolation", as far as that was possible, and... we drew the game (but yeah, know what you mean about a 'loss")
With a week and a day to recover, should be no real physical deficit - and Scunny have less. I think we'll be okay, then it's just down to doing what we know we can do [Post edited 2 May 9:02]

We were 1-0 up after 8 mins and 2-1 up after 28 mins - we didn't start slow. We just defended balls into our box really badly, made negative substitutions trying to see the game out and our keeper wasn't up to much. Let's hope Jim and the team have learnt. |  |
