As usual when tickets are free the system is fouled up. I am a season ticket holder and wish to go in the Main Stand where I usually sit or at least anywhere in the stand. Last time free tickets were available I couldn't get a ticket in the Main Stand although on the day you could see the Stand was more than half empty. Today, I can only get a ticket for the Sandy. What on earth is going on??????
As already posted twice, this is because they had all been 'sold' (even though they were free), but clearly a lot who had got them chose not to attend, for whatever reason.
This is similar to that AFC Fylde game on Boxing Day a few years ago when admission was £1. We sold over 7,000 tickets, but the attendance was around 4,000, I seem to recall.
So, yes, the system works perfectly well. It's not the fault of the system if people try to get a ticket after they have all gone.

There isn't a trend. Throughout the history of football, you will find grounds that aren't full to capacity for 'sell outs'.

Very brave formation, a 4-2-4 that becomes a 4–1-2-3 with Gilmour and Rodney as both operate in and around Dieseruvwe. Beckwith rather than Bilongo at LB indicates a longer term plan, with the former pushing forward as much as he did when LCB inside of Hannant out wide.
We had a warning when losing the balm with a shot from distance and then it happened again with their goal. When we are attacking we’re often left with two at the back. It’s the trade off if people want to see all out attacking football I suppose.
If all about attacking football translates into top half finish pushing all the way for 7th that will do me!!
McNulty obviously got us promoted and for that I am eternally grateful.. would love to buy him a pint and thank him for doing what many thought would be impossible!
Some of his football as a spectacle though was sooo boring to watch… means to an end maybe but I am looking forward to something different and it looks like we will get that in spades from IW.
Patience required YES whilst we get every player up to speed and a full squad in place.

There are certain McNulty features of play that I hope the new management will revise.
1. When we defend from set pieces, especially corners, can we at least leave one man up, so taking two opponents out of the attack and giving the keeper an immediate outball. 2. Do we have to have zonal marking? I appreciate theoretically it clears the playing area from some congestion, but instead leaves areas for big defenders to come into the penalty area with momentum to attack often with free headers. 3. Ryan East`s corners last season were so predictable with very little variety. Luke Hannant? 4. I can`t believe that this season we will get away with only one keeper in the matchday squad. With a smaller squad surely we can find room without upsetting players.

Agree with all four, except i'd change 4 to "there MUST" be room for a sub keeper. It's just a needless anxiety to go into a game with - with the emphasis on needless

As long as we do not have Francis or East playing long diagonal passes from left back leaving the centre of midfield wide open then we will be okay. I would take Camps from that era in the ten role.

A quick look on Fanbase and there are loads of seats available in every block. At £10 a ticket people are less likely to buy a ticket and not turn up compared to free tickets.
