Jay Bothroyd is screaming for VAR to be introduced to the Championship and beyond due to all the mistakes being made. It’s not the first time this season he’s gone on about either.
That’ll be me done with football if that gets introduced. Yes, I go to England games where VAR is used, but it’s one game every so often. If it was every game, I couldn’t put up with it.

There seem to be a clamour for it from pundits and journalists. for Bothroyd his main job now is to talk about refs and VAR so of course he wants a bit more of that lovely pie.

Almost feels like they purposely drive the standards of on-field refereeing into the ground, so they can have an excuse to shoehorn VAR into the Championship.
Fk right off. | |

This is the problem of having the likes of West Ham in the Championship, every time a decision goes against them the cry for VAR will go up.

He was on there last week screaming about shambolic VAR was after the Man Utd v Man City game and demanding Howard Webb come on the programme to speak to him.

It's not from the supporters though it's from the talking heads.

It sounds like he's applying himself to this a lot more than he applied himself to playing for QPR.

Given what I recall about his performances for us, maybe a blunderbuss might have been more appropriate?
