As it's a five day gap versus a three day gap and this is a home game we are really needing to win, I would expect, if fit, the team to be the same as started at the QE2 Olympic Park. |
Notice the club calling it a ‘3 game week’ when was a week 9 days long? Pedantic I know but even a Sat-Tue-Sat is 8 days not technically a 3 game week, just an annoyance of mine! [Post edited 14 Oct 13:19]

I’m probably basing it largely off one game where they played together and it didn’t go that well but just don’t think they complement each other in a 4-4-2 compared to Edwards in there with one of them. Both good players and probably just need a run together. |  | | |

Putting Ronnie in midfield has been a great ruse away from home as makes us incredibly hard to break down but surely at home to a team near the bottom we need to take control of midfield, progress the ball better and hopefully create more chances. | | | |

Don't think he rates or likes Varane at all. I think he's all but frozen out now.
A shame maybe but possibly a player that flatters to deceive. Not totally sure about his attitude either.

Think you are worrying too much Watford........Kamara & Madsen are 'proper' in there - add Edwards when our two other CBs are fit to support them makes it better. I do prefer Edwards at CB, though.
I am not so sure we should be changing from 5 in midfield to 4 just because the opposition is, apparently, weaker. Need to keep a steady formation but allowing more freedom if we are comfortable, the players will know that. [Post edited 14 Oct 16:01]
