Can't argue with the move - a bit closer to home and a higher division club.

Good luck JK.

Quite content with this. It's 45 mins nearer home for him and he's jumped a division.

It's at least half hour off his journey (depending on where we train and ty do it could be more than that), so it's an hour less a day on the road should he wish to travel from home.

They're in a higher division

He knows a lot of their players

He owes Rochdale nothing

Good luck to him.

Totally agree!

No M62 roadworks which could easily double his travelling time.

can't see why anyone would begrudge him this move. the days of a club having any sort of entitlement to a player at the end of his contract are long gone. He's given us great service and will forever go down in history as a member of the promotion team (and as the bloke who took us to Wembley). Good luck JK, we'll miss you.

It will be hard to replace the level of consistency he has given us in the past 4 seasons, hopefully Lund is a just replacement.

DIdn't we get him on a Bosman free from Darlington?

If so, he's only cost us wages for his time here, which he's more than repaid with his performances particularly the promotion season and first season in League 1.

Good luck to him, its a short career and this is a football and family based decision which will leave him and those that he holds dear better off.

All the best JK, you deserve League One football. Thanks for your efforts here.

At least you haven't joined Titanic FC at Giggle Lane.

JK served us well - best wishes to him for the future.

The number of tributes and well wishers, something not often seen when a player leaves us, is testimony to the respect the fans have for JK.
He always gave his best, even in the dark days of relegation from Div 1 and dodgy management.
He deserves to succeed and I hope he does. Thanks JK

I think we owe a lot to JK he's been a huge part of the club through the good times and the bad. In fact I fully believe staying in January when he could have easily jumped ship is possibly the single greatest thing a single player has done for us. I dare think where we would be now if JK had left at the end of January.

Good luck JK and all the best at Bradford.

I think JK choosing to stay and help the team achieve safety shows a lot about his respect towards Hill and towards Rochdale AFC as a club, he owes us nothing, but we owe a lot to him for his model professionalism and consistency in his 4 seasons here.

As Valley Parade is my nearest league ground, I can now go and watch JK when Dale are playing away. Thanks for your great contribution to the team, JK; I remember particularly your goal at Accrington.
