Sherring was fine at right back against Swindon. Easily his best performance for the club.
Would think Henderson should move one game closer to the appearance record today. |  |

Didn't witness Sherring's performance at Swindon, but hope you're right that he's improving

Just when I think we have taken forward steps… Francis is not our answer to midfield. Sherring has shown absolutely nothing to show why he should be included in this team. Rediculous out from the back garbage sends us one nil down.

Unfortunately we’ve been out thought tactically with their wing backs playing so high, exposing Sherring in particular though even Tasker has struggled.
We’ve subsequently still not got a grip in midfield either. Gilmour sitting deep in the three rather than Francis is a decision that needs explaining.

Absolute disgrace and back to the start of the season garbage. No excuse for that. Sherring has been rubbish, Francis should not be on the pitch, defensively found out and lacklustre, zero going forward with Middleton and Hayes nullified despite effort. Worst first half I have seen in years.

Sherring’s performance was impacted by his first couple of involvements when passes went astray. From that point on he was gone. Compared to Swindon when he just did the basics perfectly well.
Dealing with adversity will be important this season. Amongst everyone. | |
