It’s not a thread about an ex player it is a thread about poor journalism and selective reporting to create a negative vibe about our club. It also gave the players union (loose term not meaning the PFA) a chance to close ranks and and support one of their own. Even when that support in truth isn’t justified. If they had said both sides had a falling out then at least that would give some balance, but it of course wouldn’t have got the reaction the producers wanted.

Why would it?
It's all such a shame, to be honest, as the coverage afforded to the EFL by Quest is excellent, with two hour programmes on Saturday night and Wednesday when there are midweek fixtures.
They have also spoke excellently about Dale in the past, not only concerning Henderson, but also our youth system and way we live within our means.
Their comments were very one-sided. I don't for one minute think they were going for sensationalism, but more like they were extremely tardy in their research, particularly as Henderson is one of their favourites. |  |

Its not often you see the words Quest and Journalism in the same sentence. Football pundits rely on others to do their "journalism" for them, the result is the sort of one-sided presentation that TV stations seem to specialise in.

Colin Murray has used comments from this message board in the past (he quoted from one of the match threads) - they do use social media a lot during the programme so presume they've picked up the story from Hendo's tweet and not even looked at Rochdale AFC's side of the story. Let's face it its not often a player like Hendo so close to a club goalscoring record would leave on a free transfer. |  |
