We would have won, but Lyndon Simmonds had a late penalty saved.
The following Saturday, we took on a Peterborough side who arrived on a seven-match winning run.
In what became a famous game, Dale won 3-2.
OK, so Lincoln this time is on 13th March, the game in 1987 was at home and I might be losing my marbles, but we need to clutch at any straws we can at the moment and mine are statistical! |  |

I think I'd be happier going into tomorrow's game with Welch in the net - a highly competent goalkeeper who actually belonged to Dale; Bramhall at CB - a no nonsense defender capable of a few goals; Grant at LB, an actual hard defender played in the correct position, and a front line of Simmonds and Parlane, one of whom was on fire and the other of whom had the guile expected of a seasoned international forward.

I think you're averaging at 90 minutes*, whereas a more accurate average is around 95 minutes (in one game, can't remember which now, there were 8 minutes added time in the second half, for instance)
That makes a minimum of 720 minutes, probably longer
*Edit: averaging at 90 minutes, it'd be 681

How will Dale and BBM do in League Two if the drop happens?
I hope that you will all still go down to Spotland on match days as the club still needs you (well your money) to survive,the last thing that it needs after a horrendous couple of seasons financially for the club is for some much needed revenue to dry up,I don't want to see Dale get the drop but I also don't want them to slip into even further trouble because of fans staying away,I know that there's a lot that's not happy with whats going on but RAFC are going to need you all more then ever in 2021/2022 season | |
