Ayinde looked a decent player before his injury. His work rate was really good for a wide forward. I wonder what is up with McBride? Again he has had a decent impact when he has been fit. |  | | |

I like the relaxed commentary style, which was very even handed and acknowledged the gulf between the teams. I am just glad the player got a game into their legs. They have not had a lot of football lately, and we don’t have many games scheduled in January either.
This is a venerable old competition and while it’s not the priority I would like to see us progress. Provided the squad doesn’t become stretched by the backlog of games, which may mount further in the next couple of weeks. | | | |
