All three scored in a purple patch in the second half. Think it was 1-1 at halftime thanks to Whitehead’s goal just before the break but Bradford had been the better team for much of the first half. You could see the confidence visibly drain from them though as the goals went in.

I have never almost felt a sense of shame support Rochdale during the re election struggles. I don’t think others did either. So can agree with the chap in the early minutes of the piece. It was a real hard job for managers in the lower reaches of the game back then. Although their modern counter parts get less time to turn things around.

I stand corrected! Even though he is way before my time I had assumed for some reason that he was the captain and wore number 4 usually. Not sure why.

I would also love to see that video of the Barnsley game. I remember seeing in the paper that it was going to be on the weekly highlights programme but it was not shown in my region (down south) much to my disappointment.

melling 9, Jenkins 10 Butler 11, Whitehead 7 and smith 2 are the players I spotted in addition to captain vinny leech in 4.
