I would have thought it was ideal weather for the heroic workers.....dry but chilly and a bit of sun.......easier for moving materials around without too much mess and dust.
I hope "our" turf over in Lincolnshire is being well looked after.
Worth considering the current fixture schedule once the pitch is in use again:
Sat 24/1 Truro
- Sun 1/2 Hornets v Workington Tue 3/2 Boreham Wood Sat 7/2 Carlisle Wed 11/2 Forest Green - Sun 15/2 Hornets v Keighley Tue 17/2 Scunthorpe Sat 21/2 Woking - Sun 22/2 Hornets v Hunslet
Sat 7/3 Boston - Sun 8/3 Hornets v Sheffield Eagles Sat 21/3 Tamworth - Sun 22/3 Hornets v Midlands Hurricanes - Sun 29/3 Hornets v Goole Vikings
So that’s 14 games in 65 days. 8 games over 22 days in February alone.
And that’s with the Southend and Brackley games still to rearrange. It’s hoped that conversations are already taking place with Hornets to support them playing at another venue if possible.

also 8 February is challenge cup third round with all super league teams drawn away so a fair chance Hornets will be at home then.
