Any fanzine/publication that openly mocks either disaster shouldn't be missed. I've made it known plenty of times on here that I'm a Liverpool fan, but I genuinely find mocking of Munich just as vile. It's sod all to do with football or rivalry, it's cowardice more often than not from behind a keyboard.

Good riddance. All I've seen from that 'fanzine' for the past few years is unnecessary mocking of the Hillsborough disaster, without any explanation as to what they were gaining from such snipes.

Off to Sunderland in a £2.5million deal 'according to Sky Sources'.

I only responded on this thread because I found it odd his name was immediately brought up as someone youngsters shouldn't look up to, but I agree on most of your points.

For the record, I want Rooney to be on the bench against Italy.

Seems a shame to me that we'd victimise one of the country's best talents because of an incident a few years ago. Anyone who knows me will know sticking up for Rooney isn't something I particularly enjoy, but I do think he's unfairly labelled sometimes.

Why should youngsters not look up to Wayne Rooney? He burst through the academy at Everton, moved to the biggest club in the land, and has continued to win trophies alongside his growing amount of caps for his country. He married his teenage sweetheart, had a kid, and now people are even touting him as a possible future England and Manchester United captain.

Let's not be blinded by our dislike for him (I don't rate him particularly highly as a footballer). The lad's done well.

I know we've had this thread before, but I'm awful at finding old stuff on here. Just set up a new Twitter account and have no idea who's good to follow, so some suggestions would be lovely!

Definitely not the sort of station that's going to involve itself with a football club. Also not sure the demographic of teenage girls will be particularly interested either.

The documentary 'The Importance Of Being Morrissey' has a great section about it, where the guitarist talks about the moment he was told about the song. Pretty funny actually.

Anyway, where's Irish_Rafc when you need a good flag chat?
