There's been so many rumours regarding Hily and other jobs that eventually you get past the stage of caring, I just reason it all by thinking if he wanted to leave us for another Club then what's the point in us trying to keep him here. Life will move on. I don't buy into the theory that his experience at Barnsley will deter him from making the step up again to a bigger Club. At the moment he's obviously still happy to be at the Club but that could change the moment the right opportunity is offered. No matter what,we've had another great stint from him, nearly three and a half years i think. He owes us nothing.

And you would hope the board have learned for when the day comes about the next appointment. The last time the rumours happened and Hill had choices between Sheff United and Barnsley we dawdled and lost virtually all the backroom staff and then appointed Steve Eyre. You hope those in charge have learned. I listened to Harry Bassett at length this PM about AFC Wimbledon and the long process they ran to appoint Neil Ardley and Rob Page (Port Vale) came second. I'd like to think we might now be that forward thinking.

Hill to Blackburn? on 12:27 - May 31 with 5803 views | Scunnydale | What chance of Ashley Westwood being the next Blackburn boss? Former assistant and has just left Indian champions Bengaluru after a successful three-year stint there. Normally, I wouldn't have even entertained this as a suggestion, but with the Rovers and India links it may be a typically left-field appointment by Venky's. Plus, I'd quite like to see the reaction of Blackburn fans..! [Post edited 31 May 2016 12:31]

Hill to Blackburn? on 01:19 - Jun 3 with 3822 views | DiddyDave | Well, that`s Barnsley,Blackburn,Blackpool,Villa,Walsall,Leeds,Celtic and Rotherham sorted for managers, only Bolton and Sheffield United in Hilly`s neck of the woods to go then. From what he put on his blog a couple of weeks ago,it would appear his future, for the next whatever,is still firmly at Dale. I`m sure Lillis and the new Irish lad wouldn`t have signed on if there was any thought of KH moving on,so let`s all do that (move on) and look forward to the beginning of August.

Hill to Blackburn? on 05:14 - Jun 3 with 3775 views | davidab2202 | Can't imagine too many Blackburn fans being in raptures over Coyle's appointment.Having someone come in who has managed so many of your perceived rivals(admittedly only one now on your fixture list for this coming season) with varying amounts of success,is probably not what they had hoped for or expected.

Blackburn fans I know aren't impressed by the appointment. Forever linked with Bolton, his record in the mls wasn't the best either.
