It is the mode of operation for what is called over under wagering. So means exactly the same as your six or more but saves words! And could just as easily be set as 5.9 as 5.5. Not sure that there is any significance in using the mid point between 5 and 6 but someone else mighthave the answer. | | | |

I'd imagine it's to eliminate absolutely any chance of misunderstanding as to how many goals need to be scored to win the bet.
I'm sure it was at Dale where there was a sweep on the minute of the first goal, and there was havoc afterwards as people argued whether the 12th minute was 12 minutes and x seconds, or 11 minutes and x seconds because that is technically the 12th minute of the game. |  | | |
