That's fair enough. I've been tipping Birmingham and Wycombe to go up automatically and I'm keen to see how it pans out. I'm still also backing what I was told in January that Birmingham is Darlings next club, let's wait and see.

As it stands Wrexham need to win just to give themselves a chance of automatic.

Wycombe have to go to Huddersfield, Bolton and Orient, Wrexham have the easier run in it could go either way. | | | | Login to get fewer ads

The fixtures are turning, Wycombe the last few weeks have played the bottom teams Wrexham the top teams, Wrexham have just played Reading away, Wycombe away on the weekend and then their next game I believe is Stockport (haven't checked that). When I checked the fixtures a month or so ago I would have taken Wrexham to have remained 2 points behind Wycombe after Wrexhams bad run of games. The other issue was not only being behind Wycome and having a much worse goal difference but also when I looked the other day (its changed now), Wrexham had played 2 more home games and 2 fewer away games than Wycome and home advantage in footie is very big. What I haven't checked is what easier games Wrexham have at the end of the season, because if they have relegation threatened teams then that is much harder than playing mid table teams that are on the beach as they say eg nothing to play for, even bookies are on the case when it comes to these end of season games.

I wouldnt say that is the case, its all relative, there seems to be a lot of goodwill towards them when you consider how partisan football sites are towards their own team.

Why? Please explain why? What good does it do Welsh football in any way? I've seen stories of bust ups behind the scenes up there too.

It’s what people like Trampie say. There’s no evidence at all to suggest he’s right afaik.

If Wrexham went on to be a successful Premier League club [they won't] it would benifit Welsh football. Being a championship club will make little difference, Cardiff have been a championship club for years and can't provide one player for the national team so are of no benifit. This is fact not ridiculous opinion.

Being selfish, if Wycombe get promoted it will be a lot more difficult for the Swans to get Low from them if Harry does leave.

Well Coleman is lkeaving so we can have yet more hope things will improve. All this goodwill Trampie says Wrexham get, it comes (in my opinion) from rabid Welsh nationalists who want any and every Welsh team to beat the English. If Liverpool are Scouse then what are Wrexham because the accents up that way are just as much Scouse as Welsh, at least on my last visit up that way they were.

Possibly, but the wage appeal may be better (or not???) and our chances, slim as they maybe of getting promoted have got to be greater than Wycombe; on paper at least.
