Sadly it's true. He has been poor since the penalty miss. But he isn't on his own in his level dropping recently.

Perry and Whatmuff to a lesser extent both seem burnt out. Rodney’s form is beyond frustrating. It seems none of our recent permanent signings (Duku, Bilongo, Francis, Hannant) have had anywhere near the impact we’d have hoped for, if at all.

Sometimes I wonder what they do in training, do they spend it passing the ball in triangles, even when were winning, we seem to want to walk it into the goal. I will be interested in what McNulty as to say. Problem is other teams know we play sideways possession football, with no pace and plan accordingly, and sadly McNulty cannot change and that will cost us this season, I fear. I'd have taken a point before kickoff and it's not the worst result in the world but the manner in which we gained it is disheartening. Just need to match York to still have a chance going in to the final game but the way we're playing none of the fixtures are a gimme. | | | |

Some awful first touches today, Rodney is playing like he’s wearing clogs and I can only assume Mani D is injured. Hannant is garbage and if Dan Moss is a wing back I’ll eat my hat. Why are we persisting with that?

The fall-off in form of at the back end of our 2009/10 campaign, whilst disappointing, came after securing promotion. I've said all along that unless we finish top of the pile, i really don't fancy our play-off chances

A point today playing that negatively would still have been disappointing. The Management team have to take collective responsibility for all the sideways and backwards passing. Don't recall their keeper making a save of note all afternoon.
Hope Jim apologises to the travelling fans. He could do to listen to the co commentator from Hartlepool today who was baffled by our tactics and lack of attacking threat.

York scoring doesn’t change the point being earnt. We would have to win last day.
Of course it means we have to win the next two, but that was always going to be the case.
We’ve 99 points playing the way we do. I know you want to find a way to blame McNulty, but it’s not about how we play because that has proven to be successful. It’s the personnel choices and performances that need looking at. We tried to go direct today and were let down by our main striker offering nothing.
Wonder what they do in training? Were you wondering two weeks ago?
As was pointed out 2/3 months ago, it needs supporters to support and keep their head as much as well as the players and management keeping theirs. Chuck in the towel now if we want, but imagine if we knew those at the training ground do the same.
Will ask the same question that got ZERO response after the Sutton game: people talk about a Plan B. What does this look like?

It’s over-coached nonsense at this stage. We should be going out to win and leave it all out on the pitch. They aren’t doing that, they aren’t even getting off the coach.
If we had a 0-0 after misses a few chances and going for it then you tilt your hat. We have literally turned up today with zero intent to win that game. Very very odd.
It’s sad really because they have got this far, and absolutely fell off a cliff when it matters most. Sutton kept the dream alive but after today I think if we are still in with a chance come the final game it’s a miracle.
To be honest, sort of less bothered about it now and more bothered about us actually putting in a couple of decent performances to encourage us that we might hit a 7 out of 10 performance before the season is out.
