How many do you think we can take to Wembley? TVOS will know but wasn’t it a shade over 30k last time?

This is the One, I've waited for

I've seen lots of figures banded about but none as high as that. Anything between 17-23k.

No idea, but the crowd was 35,715.

Maestro? No. Elite? No. Heavyweight poster? No. Able to be rational and not over-react to individual results? Yes.

We had just over half the crowd, we sold around 19000. I don’t think we’ll get anywhere near that this time, I’d expect about 10k maybe.

Forza Nerazzurri

Right there is Project 5000.

Why wouldn’t the vast majority who attended yesterday not want to come back for the first league home game of the season 2026/27.

There is a real feel good factor at the club at the moment.. it’s time to take advantage of that.

I am sure the clubs senior leadership team will be doing all they can.

Apparently Wembley has the ability to sell (or make available) ticket information to participating clubs so we should avoid the debacle of the Stockport game where the club didnt either bother or didnt have a suitable Email system to engage with fans post match. Using the current system they should be able to sort new fans at Wembley from people already on their lists and create offers for them ready for next season...they will also be able to pick out people who live a distance from Rochdale who may be interested in " exile" events....maybe do a deal with the Hilton in town and offer "weekender" deals including match tickets....

How many Dale fans were at Old Trafford in 2019? Certainly a lot more than the average home gate that season.

Whilst our attentions now rightly start to focus on next Sunday, thought it worth pointing out that the decision (made by whom?) to not announce the amount of added time at the ends of each half was beyond stupid; as with the York game

Many fans were able to access the information via social media. What this meant, in effect, is that virtually everyone in the crowd knew how much time was added but many were distracted from the game itself by spending a minute or so trying to find out on their phones

In short, it was counterproductive, whatever the flawed reasoning. Flaws like this really shouldn't be happening, which go against not just the accepted norms but the spirit of the game

We had a slightly bigger gate than Stockport which surprised us all at the time. We had just shy of 18k and they had about 16.5k. Then there are VIPs, hospitality etc

To not show the added time board?

That would make us the only club in the country?

Poorly thought out how do the players know?

It was done at some other grounds as well.

The referee, his assistants, fourth official, the management and coaching staff will have told the players, probably well before the 90th minute.

Anybody else think it ironic that Jim moved his outstanding left CB to wing-back position yesterday (where he had not played all season) as the game came to the close?

I certainly had Southend flashbacks, but Beckwith aint bad at LCB thankfully. 😊

Despite a few wobbly moments that performance felt a lot more like the Dale we've been watching most of the season. I'm hopeful that the extra time off and lack of mid week games is allowing us to rest properly now we're at the final hurdle.

We really are so much better when Mani is holding up the ball and bringing others into play.

Luke Hannant MOTM for me although a couple of great performances across the team. His pace, willingness to get forward and seek out a pass was the difference for me and gave us the perfect platform to shake off the York cobwebs and be in relative cruise control for large periods of the game.

Onto Wembley, let's just get this done now and hopefully never look back. It's called the Rochdale division for a reason.

Boreham Wood have also had 2 extra time games to get through. 🤞

Its a BRILLIANT goal to cap a BRILLIANT start by Rochdale - Don Goodman 26/08/10
