This was a performance for Mbengue that I expected last week to be honest.
JS set the team up to perfection and some of the link up play was the best I have seen outside of the PL especially in the 1st half.

Particularly considering the injuries, it was a really solid performance all over the park.

Every time we won the ball there was three or four of us gone in an instant. As Linford Christie used to say 'going on the b of the bang'.
We supported in numbers, ran off shoulders, composed love poems, wrote smart ditties, serenaded passing beauties and did it all again.

Yeah, pretty fascinating to look at the BBC stats because on the vast majority of them Swansea have "better" numbers. It doesn't matter how many stats you collect, it's not a very good way of summarising a football match, least of all that one. |  |

That was outrageously good. Made Swansea look ordinary. Perhaps they are but we played some fantastic football. An absolute joy to watch, even in the uncovered bit of the lower loft :)

We have been threatening this for weeks. When we battered Preston to a draw, I always thought someone would cop it – not today though, and not with so many out. If Southmamption wasn't sold out before, it would now.
We were outstanding from front to back. Kemper is superb, Smyth was excellent up top and Koné showed that he is a great finisher. |  |

It's the coach. He is the best I've seen in decades simply because he is making average players better, Smyth being the main example. He also 'finds a way' when injuries pile up.

Yeah I'd say best since the Warnock Adel season. Total performance across the team, tactical masterclass from the manager. Smyth rampant upfront. Kone best performance for the club, the entire back 4 magnificent and a special shout out to Adamson whose winning of the ball got us the second. Apart from a dodgy 10 minutes Varane back to his best, subs came on and we looked just as strong. Exciting times it's been so long since we've been able to look up rather than down.
