How about next Friday, will we spend the whole pre-match continually applauding the opposition team?

TippyToppy's buggered off to Plymuff, Asbo-Asbo is crocked, Plattistuta won't play the full game and Flickers ain't desperate enough to pick Grimes.I suppose a small ripple for the Tutster migut be reasonable. ..

Thankfully, Keith Hackett won't be refereeing, so that should prevent any 'Barry Diamond' antics.

We had an interview with Joe Cooke in TVOS a few years ago. I believe he winked knowingly at the interviewer when asked about that game.

And me..

What did bobby actually do wrong here? He was found innocent of any wrongdoing with the race row, so anything else is mere speculation.

He was a superb player, who scored a lot of goals for dale and would have certainly been an asset this year, but he decided to move up the football ladder to a championship club, whats so bad in that?

True, and it did get a bit cringeworthy, especially in one match at Morecambe. But I still can't bring myself to dislike a player who was pretty much our one shining light last year.

Most players are guilty of it in the modern game, its the way football is..

Hendo certainly didnt look to be fouled vs shef wed, but got somebody sent off, is that embarrassing? Cav rolled around on the floor for at least 20 seconds yesterday, saw play had gone on and got up without caring, is that embarrassing? Will Buckley is looked back on fondly and he was certainly capable of falling over with the faintest of touches.

Can't help but feel as though people want to remember him badly due to his allegiance to coleman. If Hill bought him and he did the same, I cant imagine the reaction would be the same.

None of what you've just described comes anywhere near the type of pre-meditated behaviour Grant indulged in.

I'm not saying he didn't have his good points as a player - and I agree with Shun that when he scored a cracker for instance, I cheered as loudly as anyone. I'm just glad he's gone.

Grant has entered the my rank of Dale legends for the last gasp goal he scored at Exeter last season. Similar to our equaliser at Rushden, it changed the dynamic at the bottom of the league and gave us the cushion to climb out of relegation danger.
Hilly was squeezing the simulations out of him and I think we would have been out of sight had he been in this squad.

Most of Buckleys were fouls though. Defenders couldn't cope with his dribbling at speed. Glenn Murray was a worse culprit and Alfie perfected drawing a foul from nothing at Rotherham.
