Sources across the pond have indicated to WalesOnline that American property tycoon Tyler Morse could well be among them.
Morse, the founder of MCR Hotels, already holds a small shareholding in the club, and his stake is set to be increased as part of the new takeover. The exact value of his potential share isn't yet known, but one source has told WalesOnline that he is expected to take a more hands-on role, and could even be handed a position on the board of directors.
The hotelier recently made headlines for striking a £275m deal to buy the BT Tower in London, which he plans to turn into an 'iconic hotel'. His current portfolio consists around 150 hotels around the world, an estimated worth of £3.9 billion.

Realistically we've never been looking down.
As miserable and doom laden as some of our supporters get in the pre-season we've never been serious relegation contenders, apart from a brief period during Russy's second season when his ego came very close to out ranking our survival.
We've underpeformed loads, especially between 2021 and 2023, but never been really close to making the drop. |  |

He’s doing a difficult job well and has helped to stabilise the club through some choppy waters. We are holding our own in the Championship at the moment and with one or two additions in January we might even push on towards a top ten finish. | |

What has been niggling me during this euphoria is who has been behind the recent cost cutting and imposing the wage structure which in some cases sees us paying lg1 wages or lower?

Whatever happens regarding the manager and investment in the playing squad i'm just glad of a bit of positivity.
As regards Luke Williams so much depends on the plans the new owners (EFL confirmation assumed) have for the club. If they decide to just stabilise for the time being ie a reasonable amount of player investment in Jan and the summer then they would probably keep him.
But if they are thinking about a larger player investment they may think that someone who is still a novice at the Swans level is not the person they'd trust to spend that money. And if that's the case then they may just get someone in now ready for the summer.
But i'll say it again, whatever happens it will surely be a huge improvement on the current owners. | | | |
