Managed to minimise most of Scunthorpe's threat, our goal came from nowhere and at a very good time.

Last seasons Rochdale has reared its head at the wrong time. Nerves are to blame which in turn are seeing us make odd decisions that are starting to cost us.
Either way, I would’ve took a point before the game. Tough place to go on a Tuesday night with high stakes.
More twists and turns to come it seems like whenever we have chance to take the heart rate down a little we seem to not take the opportunity. That’s the Dale way though of course.

Exactly that. Two silly mistakes in a game when we defended well, played the conditions well and got it tactically right.
Dieseruvwe was below par bar his contribution to the first and it’s such a shame that both the keeper and Burger’s mistakes meant their previous contributions were lessened.
At this level, players will make errors. Question is, are we forgiving or is a case of overreacting? Everything else about the performance was right. |  |

I prefer to see Burger in possession beyond the halfway line. Great in attack but holds onto the ball way too long in vulnerable areas. East and Pettit great again.

Not sure what the need for all the changes all the time, its like an obsession where we simply must make as most changes as possible even more weird to then bring on what you'd view as 'lesser' players when whats in front of you is blatantly working. | | | |
