Really hope we can seal a deal for Symes, there aren't many who play the mobile target man role better at this level.
I think he signed a 2 year deal when he signed for Bournemouth, so a loan until the end of the season would see him through to the end of his contract. There was talk of him signing a new deal ( http://www.teamtalk.com/bournemouth/7390099/Symes-ready-to-commit), but I don't know if he ever did. [Post edited 1 Jan 1970 1:00]

I think the transfer window shuts, then re-opens in a week for emergency loans only. I'm not completely sure, but I doubt you'll be able to agree loans until the end of the season in the emergency loan window. [Post edited 1 Jan 1970 1:00]

Bournemouth fan in peace. Be a good move for Symes.Had a great season for us last year but struggled with injuries this season. He's certainly more than than just a target man. Got good feet and scores goals. If he does sign then make sure he takes your penalties as he doesnt miss! Tubbs signing has dropped him down the pecking order so a move to you guys is probably best for him and the club.
