As I mentioned of the other thread, hopefully we would bring in another striker who is a bit of a better fit for how we play. Fabio has pace but could be a bit scrappy/lacking in strength. Obviously wish him all the best should the move happen.

I'd be made up with this. Fabio seems to have some sort of cult status amongst some of our Twitter fans, not sure if it's cos he's posted a few stories on Insta of him skinning the youth team and scoring, but he's never done it in a match. I think it'd be good to get a fee for him.

I'd be amazed if Tavares got a move to another league club, even to join a U23/Development squad.

He wasn't good enough when he first broke through, and he's not shown anything in his limited appearances to show he's going to make it. He's comically lightweight in professional football. He doesn't even feature as an impact sub against tired legs, which tells you all you need to know.

I hope it's true. I doubt there'd be a fee involved, but just getting his wage off the books (no matter how small) is good business.

Another day where our academy approach has reaped some rewards. As well as Tavares and Baah, we got a small fee when Hoti went north. So it is more than paying for itself and creating a positive image for the club.

We’ve had their pants right down here haven’t we? Can’t disagree with anything Breels said above and I already thought he was just another Clive Moyo-Modise.

Good luck to the lad but I know early season a National League North side were looking at him but only as an impact sub. They were really struggling at the time too and I don’t know if there was an approach of any kind but that said a lot to me.

He seemed to score every game for the youth team but when he made the jump up to senior football was just too lightweight and didn't have the pace to make up for it. Hoped he'd kick on and do well for us but it's probably the right move for him to go back to a youth set up playing with people around his age until he does develop more.
