Amorim pretty much got himself sacked (on purpose?...) when he said he's a Manager not a Coach.
I guess a lot depends on what basis he was employed as. If it was as a Manager and people above were meddling in team selections/tactics etc then I get his frustration. If he was employed as a Coach then he shouldn't have taken the job if he wants to be a Manager and by taking the job, means you accept those terms.
Once he came out and said what he said, it was pretty much over for him.
