I seriously don't understand the negativity around Kone.
his all round play is very strong, he's young and learning his trade and inexperienced - especially at this level, and always puts a shift in.
If we can hold onto him for a couple of seasons, he will be worth a fortune. |
He's getting better and also he's still scoring.
Dykes scored 12 in his first season and then it was all downhill from there.
Kone has 6 already and remember he did not have a pre-season with us and hes only 22.
His resale value will be massive if he keeps going and it looks like he will. |  |

Yes, that could be an interesting combination of 2 ex QPR strikers playing against us.
I don't rate Dykes as a goalscorer but given Burrell is out until probably mid March and Frey on his way out, QPR could have done with Dykes as back up to come on as a sub for either Kone or Kolli in most games this half of the season. Unless of course they have someone else lined up.
Otherwise they could be forcing Kone to run himself into the ground as Burrell did. | | | |

Not having a pre-season with us would have benefitted him, I imagine.
I think Kone will be a better player then Burrel, in the long run.
He's gone through (and out of) a lean spell, he's played out of position, his attitude seems great.

Dykes never moved up there, he still lives in sunningdale. Has got the hump as he doesn’t get a game and travelling gets him.

Good. That's where we are at this season. And if some of the younger ones get a bit of game/squad time, it may give impetus to others in the development system, and entice those who aren't with us to consider us. | |
