I’m trying to get excited about this World Cup, but to no avail :-((.
I’ve just watched Sky Sports World Cup preview with Gary Neville, Jamie Redknapp, Jamie Carragher & Karen Carney. Utterly depressing viewing. Same old, same old. Picking players for the starting XI not playing for their clubs, or totally off form.
I’m hoping this thread can get the juices flowing.

Hilarious though after Souness had his dig at England being nowhere near as good as Spain and him and Neville wanting to give them the trophy at half time to see Spain get beat and do nothing second half.

Normally I'd agree on Joe Cole but was quite impressed with him the other day when they had another love in for Wales report about how much they love their country etc and he went into one saying England players and fans feel the same and he loved playing against Wales and beating them. I don't think anyone's posted this but, I'd have thought that Senegal v England should mean Seny's back in time for our match v Burnley, and Morocco v Spain should mean the same thing for Chair.

Whoa, don't get ahead of yourself mate! Just look at last night's results, nothing is certain in this World Cup. Senegal are a powerful, pacy side who could really test England and Morocco topped their group, looking slick and skillful, and, on last night's showing, more than a match for Spain. |  |
