Well done JFH and Burton

They had us sorted before kickoff (even their fans did) and we duly obliged. No redeeming features to discuss for Dale

Awaiting BBM's dismissal, and a proper manager installed who understands the basics of not just L1 football but man management - yes, that too

Their fans did indeed. Which our fans agreed with. So what changed?

Certainly not that song playing on the radio.

Nothing will change until Bottomley goes. Hopefully the US investors will.have noted his under performance in running a business.

To anyone but Shun.

Have their keeper made a save yet?

We’ve had at least three shots on target blocked on the half way line.

What the fook is wrong with you lot?

We are putting together a world class back office team to exploit a plethora of revenue streams, we've got an HR Manager for the FIRST time in our 114 year SOLVENT history, we've generated a MASSIVE £4,500 in 3.months via the rebranded ROTTO and
..

Oh yes,.we've totally lost sight of our primary function.

No doubt BBM will say we played well and he thought it was only a matter of time, before we would score. Burton could have took their keeper off in the second half.

BBM must go, we may be out of the bottom four by goal difference, but come Tuesday, we will be in the bottom four. The team as no structure or ideas, it is shocking.

Not missed a league game this season but this is my last whilst BBM stays in charge. Had enough now

Got to admit, I didn’t bother tuning in today.

The weather has been beautiful here and I’ve been out in it all day. From catching up on here, it’s clear nothing is going to change so that’ll be me done until BBM goes now.

Needs doing....not the ideal for a guy acting as Interim doing his first "duty".

The problem with sacking BBM is not who will replace him, but the clubs/boards philosophy on how they want to club to play. The simple facts if they sacked BBM are they would employ someone who will have the team play the same pointless possession based shite you are already watching, with the same players. The board are only worried about continueing to develop young players for sale and hoping they do enough to keep us in league one, which they won't.
Changing the manager Niw will not result in any tangible change and results would likely be no different as on the whole the current players simply aren't good enough to play this way regularly and win games.
Unless the board change philosophy on how they want to run the club and the style of play they want to see so that it develops younger plays for sale further up the pyramid so they can make money from player sales, then sadly nothing will change.
Preparing for next season in League 2 will simply allow the board to cut the playing budget even further due to the lost revenue from relegation. It's a slippery slope than will only end one way if there isn't a shift on emphasis to making the product on the pitch and results the priority.

As BBM is already on board with working with little/no funds there is no chance the board will sack him as there is very little chance of finding a replacement who would work under such conditions.

This is one of the most pathetic and inept performances I’ve ever seen from Dale in 20 years!
So much lack of effort and desire to stop them from just doing what they want.
Absolutely disgraceful from Rathbone in getting sent off completely unnecessarily and being banned for the next three games.
Completely toothless in attack!
Manager brings a defender on when we go 1-0 down against bottom of the league at home and only brings a second striker on in the 90th when we are then 2-0 down.
This team will go down bottom of the league with an absolute whimper.
I’ve lost any confidence that this team / management team can stay up.
I can honestly see this Dale team losing every single game until the end of the season.
Total embarrassment!
I’ve had enough and that performance was Very Colman level play.
As the old song goes “we’re going down like a Russian submarine”

One of the most frustrating things about this is that the only way we can vent our frustrations is online. It's rare that I 'boo' our players but my god I would be doing today and including the manager and board in that.

Feeling pretty low after that. Can't see BBM being sacked. Hull on Tuesday could be embarrassing think we might as well give some of the kids a go hope one or two of them do something.

Newby, Humphrys, Baah, Shaugnessy none of them offered enough going forward.

Whilst agreeing that having a philosophy is a good thing, it’s that all of a sudden we are saying we are going in a direction that we need to stick to because it’s something unique.

It isn’t. We’ve brought through young players for years, we’ve identified players at other clubs who we can develop and sell on for years. This isn’t something groundbreaking or in need of sporting directors or analysts or special pieces of software, it’s a lower division club doing the best with what it’s got.

Except we aren’t. We’re overcomplicating a philosophy Rochdale have had for 14 years to try and justify our existence. If anything, because the ‘football people’ keep focusing on this, it’s destroying the philosophy that was ingrained within the club and its supporters.

That’s becoming somewhat farcical and should be a source of embarrassment for anyone trying to emphasise it.

The clear frustration of the players says a lot. Every game there are questionable decisions around selection and formation. Shaughnessy up front - really? Or is accommodating a long throw merchant the most important thing now? Aside from the first 2 mins, we didn't look like scoring today and were beaten comfortably by a much better team.

The home record is beyond a joke - you'd think we're bound to win again at home at some point but it really doesn't seem like we will at the moment. There's also no evidence we would be promotion contenders if we got relegated. Much as I like BBM and am not a fan of sackings, it really is time to change it now. The players we have should be doing better.

Selling-on young players.

Such as those who do not know how to win? What an excellent business plan.

Very short sighted to announce the forum before the result of todays game. People are braver behind a keyboard and if when it happens performances have not vastly improved or BBM is no longer first team manager or both, it is going to be extremely toxic.

£355 if you buy in advance, and £230 if you buy on the day. Just like the first team. We've been taken for mugs
